Each plan begins with a Preventive Home Maintenance Assessment, followed by scheduled maintenance visits tailored to the home’s needs.
Age @ Home maintenance services may include:
Maintenance catch-up & stabilization
- Addressing deferred maintenance items impacting safety or home performance
- Minor repairs and adjustments to help stabilize aging homes
Routine safety checks
- Smoke and carbon monoxide detector testing
- Replacing dim or burnt-out light bulbs
- Inspecting cords, walkways, and high-risk areas for trip hazards
Preventive home maintenance
- HVAC air filter replacement and basic system checks
- Plumbing inspections and leak detection
- Gutter and downspout cleaning
- Dryer vent cleaning
- Seasonal home readiness checks including storm prep and recovery
Services are delivered on a monthly, quarterly, or annual schedule, depending on the home and level of support needed. The goal of Age @ Home is to maintain a safe, reliable living environment that supports long-term independence, reduces avoidable home-related risks while preserving the value of the home.
How much does it cost?
Costs depend on the type of service and what the home needs, but we’re very mindful of affordability. Our goal is to recommend only what’s truly needed and provide clear pricing based on priorities and budget.
Where do you currently operate?
We are currently supporting seniors and anyone healing or aging in place in Pinellas, Manatee and Hillsborough counties with plans to expand to additional geographies in Q3 of 2026
How does the program work?
We start with an in-home safety assessment, recommend and complete needed safety modifications, then assess for deferred maintenance. From there, we can address immediate needs and set up an ongoing home safety and maintenance plan if desired.
Do you work with any local agencies or non-profit organizations?
Not yet, but it’s something we’re actively exploring. We’re in the process of pursuing partnerships with local agencies on aging and nonprofit organizations that align with our mission of helping seniors age safely and independently at home.
Do you accept Insurance?
At this time, we’re primarily private pay and do not directly accept insurance. That said, we are actively exploring alternative payment sources that may help support seniors aging in place. If you have recommendations or programs we should look into, we’d be glad to hear them.
